Britons will finally get to enjoy some warm weather today, as temperatures in the south are expected to top those in parts of Mediterranean Europe.
London and the south east will bask in balmy 16 degree heat on Sunday - a welcome respite from the torrential rain that caused flooding in areas including Epsom, Ewell and Thames Ditton.
In Twickenham, rugby fans are already soaking up the sun as they gear up for the Six Nations game between England and Wales at 3pm today.
We want your pictures of the spring sunshine for an online gallery, so whether you are in the park, at the pub or dusting down the barbecuse for the first al fresco meal of the year, send your snaps to ooakes@london.newsquest.co.uk
