A driver suffered serious injuries when his car overturned after crashing in Croydon town centre.
The man, in his 30s, was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting for treatment after the collision in Barclay Road at about 4.20pm yesterday.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
London Ambulance Service said it sent an air ambulance, an ambulance, a duty officer and single responder in a car the crash, near the junction with Alden Court.
Police closed Barclay Road while officers investigated the cause of the crash.
No other vehicles were involved.
