A flag waving display of international pride was on show when communities came together to celebrate their cultures.
Children paraded the flags of more than 20 countries in Trumble Gardens, Thornton Heath, and there was also food, art and dance at the event, which is in its second year.
Parade of Nations 2014 project manager Femi Yusoof said: “This was a team effort and everyone was really supportive in making this day happen.
“It was a great day with glorious sunshine and plenty of activities for people of all ages to enjoy.
“The main aim of the event is to bring the community together to celebrate diversity and culture within Croydon and we can definitely say that happened.”
