Croydon will show it means business with the launch of a month dedicated to helping companies in the borough.
The Croydon Means Business month is open to everyone with events dedicated to start-ups and existing businesses.
They include how to pitch ideas to entrepreneurs and how to expand internationally.
It starts on October 16 with the We Mean Business Expo 2014 at Fairfield Halls, hosting more than 100 stands.
Cabinet member for economic development Councillor Toni Letts said: “As London’s regeneration borough, Croydon is seeing a huge amount of investment with more and more businesses choosing to come to the borough.
“We are also home to a large number of start-ups, in particular the burgeoning tech sector.
“Croydon Business Month is about supporting existing Croydon businesses as well as helping aspiring, local entrepreneurs get off the ground.
“There really is something for everyone.”
