Tram delays after person taken ill
A person taken ill on the tram at Morden this morning caused severed delays to the rest of the network.
A female passenger in her twenties was reported to be in need of assistance at Morden Road tram stop at 8.10am.
The interruption to the service caused severe delays on the rest of the line between New Addington and Wimbledon, until normal service was resumed at midday.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed a female passenger had been taken ill but, due to patient confidentiality, could not say what her illness was.
She said: "Our staff treated a woman in her 20s and took her to Kingston Hospital."
