Guardian readers have their chance to send in nominations for the borough's environmental champion.
This month's Croydon's Champion category seeks out the individual or group that has contributed significantly to the borough's environment.
Out of the borough's many green groups, one has worked tirelessly to promote the environmental benefits of cycling, including an initiative to introduce rickshaws into Croydon's busy town centre.
The Croydon Cycling Campaign is the local branch of the London Cycling Campaign, an 8,300-member organisation which aims to get people out of their cars and on to their bicycles.
The borough's branch believes that cycling should be actively encouraged by local government as a socially responsible, healthy, practical mode of transport for the borough.
Another group doing their bit to make an environmental change are the participants of a recycling scheme on the Shrublands estate in Shirley.
The Meet and Greet project is a furniture recycling scheme which is run from the estate's family centre and offers free furniture to new residents to Shrublands who are lacking basic household items.
The furniture not only helps new residents, it also helps to reduce the estate's waste by re-using old furniture that would otherwise be taken to the tip.
Do you know of a group or individual worthy of being crowned Croydon environmental champion?
