The mudslide near East Croydon station The mudslide near East Croydon station

This video shows the full extent of the queues faced by commuters at East Croydon station last night.

Thousands were left facing lengthy delays after a mudslide on the line caused havoc for rail companies.

The half-mile queue stretched from East Croydon station to Lower Addiscombe Road.

Yet despite the despair hanging in the air, a true British spirit of optimism ensued among those facing the delays.

Another poster said there has been a water leak in Park Hill since 2009. Wrong! I first noticed sporadic leaks in 1996, when walking through the park on the way to work. No-one seemed interested when I've tried to report it....

Hey Mrs Schroedinger, when did you first notice the water (leak?)? Has it been there constantly since 1996? Also where in the park was it? (Sorry for all the questions, I'm at university and I quite want to do a project on this whole event if I can find enough information!)
