Big Brother star Vanessa Layton-McIntosh has landed a six-figure record deal and is hoping to become the country's next RnB sensation.
Vanessa, from West Croydon, has yet to finalise details of the reported six-figure deal with CBM Records but says it will enable her to fulfil her dream of appearing on Top of the Pops.
Record producer Charles Bailey approached Vanessa after she was evicted from the Big Brother house in week seven.
The former Brunel University student, who recently celebrated her 20th birthday, said plans to break into children's television as a presenter would have to go on hold while she works on her singing.
Vanessa said: "I would describe my style as RnB with a more commercial slant. It's been a lifelong ambition to appear on Top Of The Pops."
She added: "He Charles Bailey saw me dancing and performing on Big Brother so he knew I could dance, but he didn't know if I could sing.
"He asked me to come down to his studio and sing a few songs. I was amazed when he said I was good. I've always loved to sing but I never knew if I could."
