A Middle Eastern princess is due to visit Chessington next week.
HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will meet students and staff at Chessington Community College on Wednesday, September 8.
Principal Rob Niedermaier-Reed said: “Princesses don't come to Chessington that often so it's an exciting time for us.”
Princess Sumuya, known for her patronage of arts and science, will see an eco-project headed by Sonya Craig, head of humanities at the college, and see the arts faculty.
She will also sponsor an annual award at the college and take part in a question and answer session.
