A Free talk in Tooting will discuss common problems, treatments and the future of female infertility.

The latest in St George’s, University of London’s public lectures takes place from 6pm to 7.30pm on Thursday, July 21, in the Hunter Wing at St George’s in Cranmer Terrace in Tooting.

Titled The Inside Story of Human Fertility, it will be led by Dr Suman Rice, a senior lecturer in reproductive physiology.

Dr Rice said: “Human fertility is a delicate and complex combination of factors and events.

“One in seven couples have difficulty conceiving a child, but often the causes are treatable.

“In this event, we’ll be looking how common disorders and even medical treatments can cause female infertility and looking at the prospects for reproductive technology in the 21st century.”
