Titled The Inside Story of Human Fertility, it will be led by Dr Suman Rice, a senior lecturer in reproductive physiology.

Dr Rice said: “Human fertility is a delicate and complex combination of factors and events.

“One in seven couples have difficulty conceiving a child, but often the causes are treatable.

“In this event, we’ll be looking how common disorders and even medical treatments can cause female infertility and looking at the prospects for reproductive technology in the 21st century.”
