A Battersea nightclub will rise to the occasion to celebrate the finale of the Great British Bake Off next week.

Clapham Grand will host The Grand British Bake Off on Wednesday (October 26), complete with a live screening of the final of BBC cooking show on a big screen and a quirky after party.

Doors will open at 6.30pm as the club in St John’s Hill will host its own baking competition with judging at 7.30pm before the show at 8pm and an after party until 2am.

As well as lots of cake, the fun includes Paul Hollywood masks, a Soggy Bottom competition, a photobooth and music from DJs.

Entry is free for anyone who brings cake, although you need to enter to take part in the Bake Off by filling in the form on the Grand’s website. Cakes will be sold at £1 a slice, with money going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
