Jazz legend Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen will be lighting up the stage at the Epsom Playhouse for a toe tapping night of traditional jazz.

With a career spanning over 50 years, Kenny is one of the greatest jazz performers of our time known for his particular brand of traditional jazz.

Formed in 1958, Kenny and his Jazzmen have enjoyed massive success with 14 top 30 hits surpassing even the great Louis Armstrong, an achievement never matched by any other jazz artist.

In 1961 the group scored their first top 10 hit with a re-recording of Cole Porter’s Samantha which reached number two in the UK singles charts.

In the 70s, Kenny and his Jazzmen famously appeared on The Morecombe and Wise Show comedy show in every one of their six series viewed by millions.

However Kenny later claimed the peak of his career was when he and the Jazzmen played at the wedding reception of Prince Charles and Lady Diana.

Don’t miss this chance to see one of the last performing jazz legends on stage.

Tickets for the show on Wednesday, October 19 are £19 with the show kicking off at 7.30pm.
