Comic book fans head for must-see event in London

Kapow! is the must attend event for comic book fans in the UK.

Visitors to Kapow will be amongst the first in the world to get an exclusive look at various upcoming comics, games, movie blockbusters and hit TV shows from the biggest publishers and studios in the world.

Organised by legendary writer Mark Millar and featuring interview panels with the industry’s biggest stars as well as comic book fanboys like Jonathan Ross as special guests, its line up will take some beating.

Taking place at the Business Design Centre in Islington on April 9 and 10, it includes a secret screening of a superhero movie that isn’t released until after the event.

Guests from the FX Channels hit shows, The Walking Dead, True Blood and Dexter will also be present at Kapow! alongside E4 shows Skins and Misfits will be on hand to chat about the previous series and answer your questions on these popular shows.

Kapow! and IGN UK are working together to create the ‘IGN Arena’, where top gaming studios and publishers will be giving attendees the chance to try out the latest games and exclusive first look’s at some of the biggest releases of 2011.

Other confirmed events at Kapow! include the Stan Lee Awards, a Cosplay Competition, free autographs.
