Comic Arthur Smith will be revealing the film that has had the biggest influence on his work at a special screening at Clapham Picturehouse.
Smith, Balham’s most famous resident and a regular on TV shows Grumpy Old Men and QI, is taking part in the cinema’s Movies Behind the Mirth series.
He will introduce his favourite flick, Woody Allen's Annie Hall, and afterwards take part in an informal Q&A, hosted by Richard Sandling, to talk about what the film means to him.
Controversial, outspoken and on occasions irreverent, Smith is an expert at delivering the unexpected.
