A pre-Valentine's Day poetry evening is heading to Earl Spencer, promising to be a treat for romantics, lovers and wannabe poets.
Elvis's Big Love Night sees Elvis McGonagall, of Radio 4 Saturday Live fame, delivering his greatest hits.
The stand-up poet will be showing off his blend of comedy and poetry, performing his finest penned sonnets and ballads to lucky audiences.
He will be joined by award winning Ardella Jones and feisty newcomer Mia Jerome, who has recently featured on Woman's Hour.
There will also be the chance for wannabe poets to take the microphone and have a go at some romantic verse of their own, either self-penned or even if it just your all time favourite.
It is recommended to get there early to sign up for an open-mic slot.
Elvis's Big Love Night is on at the Earl Spencer, Merton Road on February 10.
Doors open at 7.30pm, open-mic sign up from 6.30pm.
Tickets cost £5, £4 concessions and can be purchased on the door.
