Acclaimed funny man Jon Richardson is back on tour and bringing his infectious comedy to Epsom in response to public demand.

The host of Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week and a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Richardson will be bringing his The Greatest Hits So Far show to the Epsom Playhouse as part of a nationwide tour.

His well-received documentary on living with obsessive compulsive disorder was shown at the end of July and the comedian, an Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and best-selling author of It’s Not Me It’s You, continues to be in demand.

The Lancaster lad’s recent television credits include Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Channel 4's Comedy Gala Live At The 02 and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

He has also co-hosted a BBC6 Music show with Russell Howard.  The duo were roommates at Bristol University, where Richardson took Hispanic Studies before dropping-out after a year and a half.

He spent a year working as a chef before deciding to pursue his childhood ambition of performing stand-up comedy.  He won the BBC New Comedy Talent Search competition in 2003 and has been a regular fixture on the comedy circuit ever since.

Described as "sublimely brilliant, stunning... a comic right on the verge of greatness" by Time Out magazine, Richardson is one up-and-coming comedian not to miss.
