If you’re not able to relax in a restaurant themed around Epsom’s famous bath salts then surely you’re not able to relax at all.
Perfume and beauty, in honour of the town’s famous product, have inspired the redesign at Café Rouge in Epsom.
The Grade II listed building in the High Street dates back to the 17th century.
The entrance now features ornate coaching lanterns and Yew trees while inside a wall is decorated with a perfume mural and an impressive vintage perfume bottle display.
A family-friendly area has been created, and a children’s menu introduced, while outside there is an exterior terrace.
As well as the décor, the restaurant has a new menu which features old favourites and new additions like the French classic, snails.
Manager Kasia Lipska said: “I am so happy the theme in the restaurant is perfume, as an avid collector of perfume there really is no better topic for me.
“Myself and all the team here are really excited as we have such a loyal group of regulars at Epsom that it feels like the reopening will be a home coming for most of them."
