Are you one of the lucky 10 per cent of Londoners who will have five or more Christmas dinners this year?

The company revealed its own December bookings have nearly tripled in recent years to more than 260,000 festive meals sold last year.

This year they will serve up:

  • 714.3 tonnes of turkey, equivalent to 264 African elephants
  • 207.6 tonnes of Brussel sprouts, the same as three Sherman tanks
  • 39.8 tonnes of pigs in blankets, the same weight as 72 grand pianos
  • 40.2 tonnes of Christmas pudding, roughly equivalent to 216 men

Their poll also showed that more than half of families in London (57 per cent) will be entertaining up to 10 guests on December 25, with more than a quarter of 18 to 24 year olds eating more than one dinner on Christmas day.
