Food fans can soon rejoice, as sourdough pizza chain Franco Manca announces plans for a new restaurant in Bromley.
The opening will see the Compass Pub in Widmore Road, opposite intu Bromley, become Franco Manca’s second restaurant in south east London alongside their branch in East Dulwich.
Specialising in slow-rising sourdough pizzas baked in a wood-burning oven, the menu offers a range of classic pizzas all for under £7.
London based property agency Shelley Sandzer, which acquired The Compass Pub earlier this year, helped seal the deal, after last year helping Franco Manca secure sites in Wimbledon, Earl’s Court and Covent Garden.

The Compass Pub in Bromley is set to become a Franco Manca.
The Bromley opening will add to the chain’s 19 other restaurants across the capital.
Joint Managing Partner at Shelley Sandzer, Nick Weir, said: "The pub was purchased off-market from Stonegate Pub Company and in line with our close working relationship with Franco Manca we proposed the site. “It interested them immediately and we are pleased to see the brand continue its expansion plans in London.”
