Youngsters celebrated harvest festival across the borough yesterday.
St Dunstan’s Church, in Cheam, was jam-packed with youngsters from St Dunstan’s Primary School and their parents singing seasonal hymns.
They brought along a wide range of non-perishable goods which will be donated to Sutton Foodbank.
Cheam councillor, Mary Burstow, said: “It was a happy jolly session in which they were singing all the traditional harvest songs.”
Youngsters from Collingwood School
Children from Collingwood School, in Wallington, also donated a mountain of food during their harvest festival celebrations.
Yesterday the head girl Selina Amatya, head boy Jamie Moth and deputy head boy Jaden Auguste-Lawe presented a harvest hamper to the residents of Runnymede Court in Beddington Gardens.
