If you like football games and car games then you’re in for a treat next week with the release of a game which combines football and cars together.

SocCars for the iPhone and iPod Touch is developed by White Birds Production and published by Bulkypix.

It’s scheduled for a February 11 release in the iTunes App Store.

As its name kind of suggests, SocCars is a mix of soccer and car driving.

You’ll need to use your skills for dribbling and shooting along with accelerating and steering.

The aim of the game is to move a ball into your opponent’s goal using your vehicle.

If you’ve enjoyed the car football scenes in Top Gear on TV then this will be right up your street.

Matches take the form of one-on-one battles in futuristic looking arenas.

There are 10 cars in the game, each with different abilities.

There are also power-ups to use including freeze, rocket and magnet.

Not long to go until the action kicks off, or rather revs up.
