Boogie nights comes to Fairfield Halls
Time to get your boogie on as smooth funk, reggae and soul come to Fairfield this month.
OEP Live are bringing three legendary acts to Croydon who are sure to get the audience up on their feet and dancing.
Britain’s best loved reggae bands, ASWAD, will be appearing at the gig.
The band is renowned among reggae fans for their rich melodies and compelling harmonies, woven over hard rhythm tracks and inspired horn riffs.
Soul legend Alexander O'Neal is also featuring in the show. His popularity in the UK has been constantly reiterated with numerous sell out tours including the Princes Trust Concert and a BBC TV special.
He has had albums charted in both the UK and USA, and will perform his hit tracks Criticize, If You Were Here Tonight” and Hearsay.
HEATWAVE, one of the most popular soul bands of the past few decades, with their inimitable blend of sweet soul grooves and great pop, soul, dance songs are back with a vengeance.
With hits like “Mind Blowing Decisions”, “Boogie Nights” and the all time classic “Always and Forever”, the band are no strangers to chart success with a string of hits reaching the top twenty, and the foot stomping “Boogie Nights” climbing all the way to number one in 1977.
