Tinkerbell will be sprinkling pixie dust all over the Secombe Theatre this month.

Peter Pan is coming to the theatre with Carshalton Pantomime Company performing their 49th pantomime spectacular.

Expect all your favourite characters including Tinker Bell, Captain Hook, Smee and not forgetting Wendy, John, Michael and Peter himself.

This is the second time the company has performed Peter Pan and the big cast promise amazing costumes and staging effects and a few twists on the original.

The show's organisers promise this will be tremendous panto fun for all the family, with magical flying effects and nonsense from the inept pirate crew led by Captain Hook

JM Barrie's most famous character first graced the stage over 100 years ago but remains a staple of children's entertainment today.

David Barnfather, director of the pantomime, said he is expecting the show to be a hit.

He says: "It's the second time I have had the pleasure of directing this wonderful panto,  I think the last time was 11 years ago so a few things may have changed.

"We have a cast of more than 60 now. It is not easy to recreate JM Barrie's classic tale, but we always try to give it a little twist and there will; be lots of flying effects to wow the crowds."

The pantomime runs for 17 performances and begins on January 11.

Mr Barnfather says: "It's a long running show, and I think this is the longest for an amateur company in this part of the world."

The Carshalton Pantomime Company donate all their proceeds to local charities.
