Beach Boys tribute band surf in to Sutton
12:00am Friday 11th January 2013 in Vibe By Sophia Sleigh, Reporter
Find a new place where the kids are hip
If you gotta find a new place where the kids are hip then get down to Sutton’s Boom Boom Club.
Grab your brightest Hawaiian shirt and prepare to imitate those surfing moves as tribute band, the Beached Boys, ride in to Sutton.
The Beached Boys vocalists have recorded with Jeff Beck, Elton John, and recently played with original Beach Boy David Marks.
They were founded in 1999 from the remnants of another Beach Boys tribute band called Endless Summer.
They formed their new band after they appeared in a programme hosted by Ann Robinson based on American themes.
Think beaches, parties and endless summers as the Beached Boys recreate the original sixties surfing sound of the Beach Boys.
Beached Boys, Boom Boom Club, Sutton Utd FC, Sutton; January 11, doors open 7.30pm, show 8.30pm; £10adv/12door; call 0208 761 9078 or visit feenstra.co.uk.
