A light-hearted tale of love and laughter at a French finishing school is to be brought to life by one of Surrey’s leading youth theatres.
Sandy Wilson’s musical The Boyfriend, first staged in 1953, is set in the care-free world of the French Riviera in the Roaring Twenties.
Polly Browne, has a rich father, but is pretending to be a secretary at the finishing school when she meets a humble messenger boy. But he himself is actually a member of the British aristocracy.
