A new generation of singers and song writers are emerging out of a current blues boom.

Both Ron Sayer Jr and the Mentulls, who are visiting the Boom Boom Club this month, fit into that category.

Ron Sayer Jr, the former Oli Brown bass player and song writer, is coming along to promote his new album - Better Side. His band features acclaimed keyboard player Charlotte Joyce.

The evening will also feature a young band called the Mentulls. The 16 year olds have just returned from their first tour of Holland and their latest CD, The Long Road to Home, is their third release.
