Bank holiday revellers can enjoy London with a spring in their step this weekend with a free guided walk.
Merton residents can take advantage of Walk England and Transport for London’s Spring into Summer weekend offering 35 free walks with an expert guide to help Londoners discover the wealth of hidden gems across the capital.
On Sunday, take a scenic walk from Wimbledon Park to Richmond, experiencing the beauty of Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park.
Walkers should meet at 1.30pm at Wimbledon Park tube station to finish at Richmond tube station four hours later.
Walk England managing director, Anne Clark, said: “The walks offer the perfect way to explore London and discover places and the stories associated with them.
“The enthusiasm and knowledge of the guides really brings the capital to life for locals and visitors alike.”
