An EastEnders star and a Skins star will both be appearing at Fairfield Halls this Christmas in hit musical Never Forget.

Michelle Collins, best known to millions as Cindy Beale in EastEnders, will play Babs Sherwood in the musical that uses the songs of Take That while Mitch Hewer, who played the leading role of Maxxie Oliver in Skins, plays stripper Dirty Harry.

Collins's other TV credits include Sunburn, Two Thousand Acres of Sky, Rock Rivals, Real Women and Daylight Robbery while 19-year-old Hewer was also in musical drama Britannia High.

The company also includes Aimee Atkinson as Chloe Turner, Adam Booth as Jake Turner, Tom Bradley as Adrian Banks, Scott Garnham as Jose Reize, Teddy Kempner as Ron Freeman, Kay Murphy as Annie Borrowman and Mark Willshire as Ash Sherwood.

The feel-good romantic comedy, which features a cast of 21, a live band and a 20-strong children’s chorus drawn from around Croydon, follows the story of five men who enter a talent competition, each looking for a way out and a step up, though they soon discover fame comes at a price.

Expect all the classic Take That songs, including A Million Love Songs, Could It Be Magic, It Only Takes A Minute, Relight My Fire and, of course, Never Forget.
