'Best country music show' in the UK arrives in Epsom

The ‘best country music show’ in the UK featuring country classics will arrive in Epsom this month.

Now in its 11th year, the Solid Gold Country Legends Show will bring a mix of old and new country hits featuring the likes of Hank Williams, Patsy Cline and Tammy Wynette to Garth Brooks and Shania Twain.

The evening will be led by British singing stars Jeanne Jordan and BJ Thomas who will be joined by top country musicians the Outlaw Country Band.

Recreating some of the finest country music ever produced, expect to hear classics such as Tammy Wynette’s, ‘stand by your man’ and Billie Joe Spears ‘blanket on the ground, to Johnny Cash ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ to Dolly Parton’s ‘9 to 5’.

The production has already toured much of Europe and the US and has proved to be popular on both sides of the Atlantic.

The British Country Music Association Awards gave the show the accolade of Best Event, making Solid Gold Country Legends the best country music show in the UK.
