A children’s TV favourite will be treading the boards in a new live show later this month.

Peppa Pig first ventured into the theatre with Peppa Pig’s Party which was one of 2010’s top selling children’s theatre shows.

Now the loveable pig’s second stage show, Peppa Pig’s Treasure Hunt, is coming to the New Wimbledon Theatre with a new pirate themed adventure.

Follow Peppa Pig and her friends as they embark on a day out on Grandad Dog’s boat as they solve clues in a bid to find their treasure meeting characters such as Pedro Pony, Polly Parrot and Zoe Zebra along the way.

Featuring professional puppetry and sing a long songs, the creative talents from Peppa Pig’s first show have been reunited to being this second instalment to the stage.

Off-stage Peppa Pig has just celebrated her most successful year yet with £200m in UK merchandise sales in 2010 alone while the Peppa Pig theme park opened at Paulton’s Park in the New Forest and is now shown is now being shown in more than 180 counties.
