Last Friday's RockStock belonged to the headliners, 75 Stories, who captivated all in attendance with their catchy pop punk music in the vein of bands like Blink 182 and Hit The Lights. They ploughed through their set, churning out quality covers such as Blink 182's "All The Small Things" and "Carousel", alongside some stellar original tracks like "Clubbing Sucks" and "Right On Time". They had loads of fans in the crowd, and those that weren't there to see them play were obviously won over by their pure energy and winning charm, as they strummed and plucked and smashed their way through the listeners ears.
An out of the ordinary performance by a percussion ensemble was also a big hit with the RockStock crowd, and the show was received extremely well, as the crowd formed a tight circle around the percussionists as they played baffling rhythms on just about every drum in the building.
The opening band of the night were Destination, a quartet with a good sound. They combined melodic singing with screams, catchy riffs, steady rhythms and beefy bass to create crowd friendly songs like "To The Moonlight" and "Today, Tonight". They captured the crowds attention and maintained momentum throughout their set of eight songs, which is no small feat for an opening band. Overall, they did a remarkable job in the toughest slot of any gig.
Camaro were second to hit the stage at Wallington Halls, a three piece band with bags of style. They used catchy guitar, storming drums and peppy singing to get the heads in the room nodding, and the feet tapping along to songs like "How You Killed Me" and "Do You Ever".
The next band to play are familiar faces on the RockStock scene, JSA. They played their set with their usual confidence and swagger, blasting through four songs before their set was cut short due to the night being behind schedule. They are a crowd pleasing band, with a great visual show, with lots of movement on stage, that perfectly complimented their music, which was full of energy and with a definite fun side.
The remaining slot was filled by a band called Warning. They have an unusual line up of six people. Three guitarists, a bassist, vocalist and drummer. They used this really well though, covering Metallica's "Enter Sandman", Sex Pistols "God Save The Queen" and System Of A Down's "Chop Suey". They were well received, and the crowd seemed to enjoy their set, making the most movement during this set than any other point in the night.

Overall, it was a brilliant night of rock music, and one that saw different styles of music being brought to the RockStock crowd.
