Frank Giassulo is delighted to be back in London. The genial New York jazz pianist is playing a gig at the Bulls Head tonight as part of the London Jazz Festival and Giussalo, 57, who has been playing shows regularly here since 1999, can’t get enough of the city and its jazz fans. “UK audiences are much more appreciative than crowds in the States,” he says. “They are attentive and that’s great for a performer. There are occasions in the States where you have that but it seems to be the rule here.”
