A night of opera is taking place at Fairfield Halls this weekend with some big singers aiming to hit some of the big notes, writes Andy Bloss.

The show, called Vienna to Broadway features Prima Voce, singers who have performed at the Royal Opera House on numerous occasions.

Their founder and artistic director is the British Verdi baritone John Morgan, and they are represented by Maestro Music Management who have already had great success in organising concerts and music events throughout the UK and abroad.

The group are joined by tenor and crowd favourite Bonaventura Bottone and members of The Brandenburg Sinfonia.

Vienna to Broadway takes the audience on a musical journey from the glittering ballrooms and theatres of Vienna to the dazzling lights of Broadway.

Music ranges from Mozart, Lehar and Strauss, Offenbach, Gershwin and Gilbert and Sullivan to songs from West End Shows such as West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables.

Vienna to Broadway, Fairfield Halls, Park Lane, June 21, 7.30pm, £13 - £25, call 02086889291 or visit Fairfield.co.uk.
