A seven piece jazz band will take to the stage in Walton to bring a great year to an end.
The Red Stripe Band, no stranger to performing in Surrey, are currently sitting in the top 30 of the London jazz chart and climbing.
The band was set up by former Addlestone resident Red Stripe, aka Neil Drinkwater, nearly 20 years ago.
Drinkwater will lead the band in songs from their new album, Soho Surprise, as well as old favourites, including their version of Tu Vuo Fa L’Americano, which was used in a national television advert for Papa John’s.
The new album is aptly titled after Drinkwater’s move to Soho 10 years ago to pursue his jazz career, with the songs presented to tell stories of Soho life and characters, as well as anecdote from years on the road.
