Boyzone will be working on new music, Shane Lynch has said.

The reunited four piece celebrated their 20th anniversary as a band last year.

Shane told Metro that Boyzone - Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy - wanted to move forward in the next couple of years.

"We're still here, this is not a 'Thank you very much, goodnight, never see you again', this is about pushing Boyzone forward for the next few years," the singer said.

"We signed a record deal with Warner Music just before Christmas for four albums so there's a lot still to come from us."

Shane said that plans are already under way for a new Motown album.

"We're just trying to decide now who we're going to collaborate with, what songs we're going to put on it," he added.

"Boyzone's first song ever released was a Motown record - Working My Way Back To You. We're kind of just going back to our beginnings to push forward," he said.
