A Putney-born-and-bred musician is celebrating his 30-year career on home turf.
Eclectic performer John Donegan is having a music festival in the Old City Arms, on Hammersmith Bridge.
The evening will include six acoustic acts and three live bands playing his songs. The event will end with his cover-band the Bees Knees, who play everything from the Black Eyed Peas to the Jam.
His first show was in November 1984, at Fulham Town Hall, and has since played all over south-east England.
- John Donegan 30 Years in Music; Sunday, August 24, from 5pm; The Old City Arms, Hammersmith Bridge; Free entry.
