A number one chart topper brings her country vibes to the Putney next month.

Miriam Grey, known by her stage name Mim Grey, performs at the Half Moon on October 19.

The soul-infused country singer is experiencing great success with Ways of Love, from her second album Chasing Tigers, leading the Ireland and European country charts in August and September.

Since being discovered in a London jazz club, where she had been performing since she was a teenager, Grey went on to work in Los Angeles with producers to create her first album, titled Grey Matters.

Both this album and her second, Chasing Tigers, have been added to the playlist on BBC Radio 2.

Having shared the stage with Sir Paul McCartney, Dave Stewart, Lynden David Hall and ABC as a backing singer, Grey has fronted two singles for worldwide charting, Mantronix, and How Did You Know, which reached number nine in the UK chart.
