Rita Ora has rubbished rumours that she’s the woman at the centre of the Jay Z cheating allegations.
The singer found herself in the firing line after Beyonce made a cryptic reference to “Becky with the good hair” on her new album Lemonade, sparking speculation that her hubby Jay may have cheated.
Social media has been buzzing about whether Becky is real, and who she might be, with Rita’s name currently at the top of the list.
However, the star has now taken to Twitter to set the record straight.
Becky-hunters had originally landed on Rachel Roy, but the fashion designer quickly debunked the gossip.
Rachel also told People magazine: “There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumours.”
Beyonce’s song, titled Sorry, appears to be about a woman shrugging off her husband’s apology after he cheated.
It contains the lyrics: “He only want me when I’m not there / He better call Becky with the good hair.”
