Celebs from the big and small screen headed to Kingston last weekend to see the hottest show in town.

Saturday was the first day audiences could see all three of the plays in Trevor Nunn’s version of Shakespeare’s Wars of the Roses on a single day and lots of stars headed out to support it.

After a marathon day of performing, it was no wonder the cast were in high spirits as Rufus Hound, Joely Richardson and Robert Sheehan all sported beaming grins in photos, as did director Nunn.

Among the celebs who made the trip to the Rose Theatre were Miss Moneypenny Samantha Bond, who supported husband Alex Hanson in the show.

Scottish actress Sara Stewart, known for playing Bruce Wayne's mum in Batman Begins and performances in Wire in the Blood and Fresh Meat among others, was also in attendance.

Sofia Boutella, who has had significant roles in Kingsman The Secret Service, Street Dance 2 and the forthcoming Star Trek movie, was present to support boyfriend Sheehan, who stars in The Wars of the Roses as Richard III.
