An adaptation of the The Great Gatsby is coming to the Lost Theatre, following a tour across Europe.

F Scott Fitzgerald's classic tale takes audiences back to the roaring 1920's, following the First World War.

American society is enjoying prosperity, whilst at the same time it is rotting from within from greed, dishonesty and the constant pursuit of wealth.

Tour de Force Theatre Company's performance highlights the contemporary relevance of Fitzgerald's novel.

A cast of five actors brings the much-loved characters in the novel to life, gripping audiences with their portrayals of Gatsby, Daisy Buchanan and Nick Carraway.

The show is complemented by evocative live jazz music sung in a cappella, recreating the glitz and decadence of the period.

Tour de Force have already been wowing audiences with a tour of the performance across Europe since September 2011, with successful shows in Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Luxembourg.

The Great Gatsby is on at Lost Theatre, Wandsworth Road on February 27 and 28.

Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased at the box office.
