Life is a cabaret for audiences who visit the monthly cabaret showcase Cheese 'n Crackers, promising music, comedy and cheesiness.

Visitors can sit back and relax in the plush surroundings of the Battersea Barge, while enjoying a variety of cabaret acts.

Ten acts battle it out every month to win the coveted cheese-and-cracker platter.

Expect to see burlesque dancers, tribute acts, drag and comics, with the barge being home to the first ever London Cabaret Awards earlier this year.

The acts have the chance to perform in front of an audience and founder of the show Paul L Martin.

It claims to have no limits on what acts do and can cater for the most outlandish requests.

Organisers of the show are keen to promote the capital's growing cabaret scene, and encourage new performers to take part in the showcase.

The show is produced by Excess All Areas, founded by international cabaret performer Paul L Martin.

Martin has performed, taught and produced the genre, and was hailed as the 'King of Cabaret' and a 'British Cabaret Icon' by The Stage arts magazine.

This year he has been given the memorable task of compering the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations in Battersea Park on June 3.

The show takes place on the first Thursday of every month, with the next perfomance being held on April 5.
