The Epsom Playhouse is inviting people to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee at an afternoon filled with patriotic music, nostalgia and fun, showcasing the very best of English entertainment.

From the producers of the popular Remember When at Christmas Show, There’ll Always Be An England is the latest production to take the audience back through 60 years of England, reviving memories of coronation day in 1953, England’s World Cup triumph in 1966, great English musicals, the Swinging Sixties, Cockney sing-a-longs to the stirring sounds of the Last Night of the Proms, and finally a special tribute to the armed forces. The show will be presented by Neil Sands and his cast of West End performers. The Playhouse says the show promises stunning costumes, a good dose of old-fashioned fun and a unique atmosphere.

So if you are proud to be English, take a trip down memory lane to a time when Britannia really did rule the waves and blue birds flew over the white cliffs of Dover.
