Legendary sports commentator and journalist Henry ‘Blowers’ Blofeld will be paying a visit to Epsom Playhouse to reveal all about his extraordinary career.

The Playhouse says there is much more to Blofeld than just the old Test Match Special commentary box because no one has lived life more to the full.

In his show, Shaken Not Stirred, Blofeld will let the audience into all sorts of secrets at the same time as doing some powerful and irresistible name-dropping.

His views are known to be prickly and funny and, with them, the pompous, the politically correct and the prancing popinjays on every platform of life, are kicked unceremoniously into touch.

Blofeld will talk about his entry into the world of journalism and broadcasting and recall some of his great stories. There will also be anecdotes from the Test Match Special commentary box, great stories of John Arlott, Brian Johnston and others including the great Jim Swanton who was such a snob he refused to travel in the same car as his chauffeur.
