Sean Scannell could win his first full Republic of Ireland cap when they face Serbia at Croke Park, Dublin, on Saturday.
The 19-year-old made second-half substitute appearances for Giovanni Trappatoni's side in friendlies against Portuguese club sides Portimonese and Lagos at their training camp.
Striker Clinton Morrison failed to make the tour, being cut when the squad was reduced from 40 to 28 despite his 16 goals for the Eagles last season.
