Jewellery worth thousands stolen in Croydon burglary
3:37pm Monday 29th October 2012 in News By Hannah Williamson
Police have released pictures of jewellery worth thousands of pounds stolen during a burglary.
Thieves escaped with several items after burgling an address in Foss Avenue, Croydon, on September 7.
Some of the jewellery is very distinctive and detectives want anyone with information or who may have been offered these items for sale to come forward.
DC Andy Millar from Croydon CID said: "It is very likely the suspects behind the burglary have or are trying to sell these items either at cash-converter type shops or privately.
"If you have seen anything like these items or been offered them, then please contact police."
Anyone with information can contact Croydon police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
