A secondary school in Shirley has become the first school in London to have a complete fleet of some of the world's finest pianos.
Fifteen Steinway pianos were delivered at Trinity School earlier this term.
To celebrate the arrival of its Concert Grand piano and All-Steinway School status, the school's top pianists performed in the concert hall.
Student Micah Richmond from Year 11, said after his performance: "Playing on the Steinway Concert Grand was exhilarating. It is so much easier to play that any other piano! The sound is just amazing."
Craig Terry, Managing director of Steinway and Sons, presented Headmaster Mark Bishop with a commemorative plaque to mark the arrival of the fleet.
David Swinson, Head of music said: "Trinity is proud to be the first secondary school in London to become an All-Steinway School. We are delighted that our students, whatever their level, can now experience rehearsing and playing on some of the best pianos in the world.
