Bank staff to 'take over' East Croydon charity shop to raise money
Staff from Lloyds Banking Group will 'take over' Save the Children charity shop in East Croydon on Friday.
As part of the company's bid to raise as much money as possible for the charity, staff will sort and sell stock in the charity store, with the aim of increasing the income the shop made on the same date last year.
Save the Children is the banking group's chosen charity of the year.
The partnership which has funded the organisation's Families and Schools Together (FAST) programme in some of the most disadvantaged communities, will end at the end of the year.
