A Christmas fair has raised more than £5,000 for a specialist school for children with profound autism.
Hundreds of shoppers turned out to the fair in support of Papillon House School in Tadworth on Saturday, December 1.
Catherine Potter, chairman of the Friends of Papillon House School, said: "For a small charity we have raised a big amount.
"We are absolutely thrilled by the support we have received from local businesses.
"All funds raised will go towards equipment needed for the 30 pupils at the school."
