To help you save a few pennies, Elmbridge Council will be offering free car parking in all car parks in the run up to Christmas.
All council-owned car parks will be free to customers all day on Saturday, December 22, Sunday, December 23 and Monday, December 24.
The move is to support independent businesses and encourage people to make the most of the unique and diverse shops the borough has to offer.
Councillor John O’Reilly, leader of the council, said: “I’m pleased to announce that Elmbridge Council is offering businesses, residents and visitors an early Christmas present, with free festive car parking in the run up to Christmas Day.
“This is an opportunity to promote enterprise and the local economy even more than before.”
The free car parking offer applied only to council car parks and does not apply to those privately managed.
Car parks will also be free on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
