Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Walton on Thursday.
The collision took place just after 4pm on Thursday, December 6, in Walton Road, when a green Renault Scenic and a motor scooter collided.
South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and the 19-year-old scooter rider was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting for treatment for what are believe to be serious head and leg injuries.
Roads in the area were closed last night while the emergency services attended and an investigation into the cause of the collision was carried out.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it is urged to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference P12357381.
